Competitions

 

We regularly enter several high profile competitions, these include:

 

Big Bang Near Me & National Big Bang Fair.

Both the Big Bang Near Me & National Big Bang Fair are the venue for the NSEC (National Science and Engineering Council) Young Engineers Competition. The 'Near Me' competitions are qualifiers for the national final that is usually held at the NEC, Birmingham. We have qualified for the finals for the last three years. This competition regularly attracts 2000 project entries at the qualification stage, with 200 of these winning a place at the final.

 

Longitude Explorer Competition

This prestigious competition invites tenders for projects on various STEM themes. This year the theme is 'Using satellite data to improve life for us'. We tendered two projects for the 2015 competition, and both projects have qualified for the semi-finals.

 

 

Google Science Fair

A world-wide science competition open to anyone on planet Earth
